The Frontier Model Forum (FMF) is an industry-supported non-profit dedicated to advancing frontier AI safety and security. We work closely with experts from our member firms to identify emerging risk management practices, support scientific research and methods, and facilitate information-sharing for frontier AI vulnerabilities, threats and concerning capabilities.

We are looking for an AI Biosecurity Manager to advance our workstream on frontier AI and biosafety and biosecurity threats. As AI Biosecurity Manager, you will work with the Director of Programs to drive forward consensus viewpoints on threat models, thresholds, evaluations, and mitigations for biosafety and biosecurity, and to ensure the regular delivery of rigorous and scientifically-informed outputs on emerging practices for managing biological and chemical risks related to frontier AI. You will also manage bio-related discussions and projects covered under our first-of-its-kind information-sharing agreement for frontier AI vulnerabilities, threats, and concerning capabilities.

The ideal candidate excels at managing multiple projects simultaneously and executing quickly on high-level guidance. You will organize and facilitate workshops with internal and external biosafety and biosecurity experts, manage collaborative research processes and programs, and oversee the drafting and publication of best practice guidelines and research briefs.
